Gameloft, the name behind so many of the games people play on their mobile phones, has announced plans for 15 games to be created for Apple’s iPhone.

With Apple choosing to invite both Electronic Arts and Sega to its iPhone SDK event, it would appear Steve Jobs has the gaming market in his sights.

The last time Apple ventured into the world of gaming with the Pippin, all didn’t go according to plan. Over ten years later, lets see if they’ve learned from their mistakes. And remember, even if they haven’t, you can still use the iPhone to make calls ! Or am I the only one ?
