Well, it’s official! Apple has just officially announced the dates for this year’s WWDC event. Mark your calendar, write it on a napkin, or spray your dog.. this event promises to be good!! It’s starting on June 9 and runs until the 13th at the now-legendary Moscone West Centre, situated in downtown San Fransisco.

No word on who will be hosting the main keynote as of yet, however, Uncle Steve is the likely candidate.

According to Apple they’re targeting 3 main areas this year; iPhone, Mac and IT.

I suspect we’ll see some sort of iPhone 3G announcement (amongst other things), but the rumor mills should be going crazy in the next few months, so don’t blink!
