WWDC 2008 - The Countdown Begins..
Well, it’s official! Apple has just officially announced the dates for this year’s WWDC event. Mark your calendar, write it on a napkin, or spray your dog.. this event promises to be good!! It’s starting on June 9 and runs until the 13th at the now-legendary Moscone West Centre, situated in downtown San Fransisco. No word on who will be hosting the main keynote as of yet, however, Uncle Steve is the likely candidate. According to Apple they’re targeting 3 main areas this year; iPhone, Mac and IT. “The groundbreaking innovations of Mac OS X Leopard and iPhone OS offer two revolutionary development platforms for developers and IT professionals. Immerse yourself with information-rich sessions where Apple engineers go in-depth on the innovative technologies that power the features of these sophisticated platforms. Bring your code to the Labs and work one-to-one with Apple engineers, applying development methods and best-practices you gain from sessions to enhance your application“ I suspect we’ll see some sort of iPhone 3G announcement (amongst other things), but the rumor mills should be going crazy in the next few months, so don’t blink!
