Now it’s unusual for this kind of thing to hit Safari, but here it is. Some code has been discovered that will wither crash Safari on your computer, or completely lock you iPhone/iPod Touch. I’m not sure which is worse, but neither are exactly great.

It would seem the new release of Safari on Mac has stopped this in its tracks, either intentionally or not. Now we just need a new firmware release for the iPhone and all will be well again. iPhoneworld.ca has details o how to give the thing a try, should you be that way inclined.
