Does this iPhone look heat-damaged to you? Maybe, maybe not.

A forum user recently posted on OCUK and Macrumors about his iPhone which, he claimed, melted while sat in its dock. He’d tried Apple, who sent him packing. He’d tried Carphone Warehouse, who were also having none of it. After much Apple/CPW bashing, someone found some rather damning evidence (linked here) It transpires the same poster had, only days prior, posted saying his Dad had damaged his iPhone! Alarm bells ringing yet?

Needless to say, any sympathy other forum-goers had seems to have evaporated. Ooops.
