iPhone sales lagging in Europe. What, really?

Lackluster iPhone sales in Europe.jpg

The guys over on Ars Technica are telling us something we already know. The iPhone wasn’t selling well in Europe. I say wasn’t, as since the recent UK £100 price drop, they must have shifted truck-loads. Every forum you go on has threads of people buying iPhones since the drop in price. Was it just a case of Apple being overly optimistic with their original pricing, or is there more to it than that? It will be interesting to see at what price point the 3G iPhone hits.
