Canadians to finally get iPhone?

While there’s still no official word from Apple, the Toronto Star reports that Rogers Communications are hoping to use the iPhone as part of their new campaign pushing touch-screen phones. The campaign is due to be rolled out sometime in May or July.

That would put one of the world’s most talked-about devices in the pockets of Canadians right around the time that Apple Inc. is expected to roll out an updated version of the iPhone that runs on so-called third generation, or “3G,” networks.

The timing certainly fits. The question is: Is there anyone left in Canada who hasn’t hopped over the boarder and already bought one ?
