Deaf? AT&T tariffs for the hearing impaired!

I‘m not sure why it’s taken so long for AT&T to do this, but they’ve launched an iPhone plan for the hearing impaired. The plan includes:

  • Unlimited SMS messages
  • Unlimited data usage (email and web)
  • $.40 per minute pay-per-use voice
  • Visual VoiceMail

and costs $40p/m.

In order to take out this plan you need to complete the forms here. Then you activate the normal way and have to contact AT&T yourselves to change the plan over.
