Engadget are reporting about how RIM are bigging up their latest Blackberry in that it will beat the iPhone in general awesomeness. Their CEO seems to have trouble typing on the iPhone, so went out and made his own. Who’s going to buy one then?

Erica Sadun over on TUAW has received a tip that the latest firmware release for iPhone includes code for an app called iControl.
Like Apple TV and other remote controllers, it would allow the iPhone to connect wirelessly to local iTunes libraries and browse through and play media from those sources.

While there’s still no official word from Apple, the Toronto Star reports that Rogers Communications are hoping to use the iPhone as part of their new campaign pushing touch-screen phones. The campaign is due to be rolled out sometime in May or July.

There’s a new app in town that promises video AND audio recording and uploading to the usual sites. I’ve not tried it yet, but I’m planning to give it a shot in the next couple of days.
