An industry insider has told cnet Australia that Optus will be one of the carriers to boast the iPhone, possibly as early as the end of June.
The insider didn’t confirm that the iPhone released would be the 3G version, but I can’t see the carrier sending out the old version only to replace it very soon after. Also, Optus doesn’t have the required hardware for EDGE, so make of that what you will !
