Vodafone to bring iPhone to 10 more countries

Vodafone have joined the list of carriers that will be selling iPhones across the globe come the end of the year. On Tuesday the 2nd largest mobile carrier on the planet (Chine Mobile is Numero Uno) announced:
“Later this year, Vodafone customers in Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey will be able to purchase the iPhone for use on the Vodafone network”
I’m assuming that these countries will see the 3G version from the off, but with no firm date for release ‘later this year’ could mean anything.
