Not content with having one of the best iPhone optimised sites around, NBC have gone that one step further. Now you can watch full episodes of your favourite TV shows, right from your iPhone ! Well, so long as your favourite TV shows are either 30 Rock or The Office that is. Still, it’s certainly a start.

I’ve just been streaming the first episode of 30 Rock, and the quality isn’t bad at all. While not winning any awards, both the sound and video quality are more than watch-able while not quite being up to the standard of the BBC’s iPlayer. Also of note to people outside the US, it allows streaming to anywhere. I was expecting some kind of IP checking to go off similar to the way Microsoft does with the Xbox Video Marketplace, but apparently not. Whether that’s just an oversight that will be rectified I’ve no idea.
