iPhone now unavailable on both UK and US online Apple Stores
Getting sick and tired of constant iPhone stock updates? Me too, but this time it’s a little more interesting than usual. Today both the UK and US online Apple Stores have the iPhone (8GB and 16GB versions) listed as ‘Currently Unavailable’.


Is this yet another sign that we can get ready for an announcement on the upcoming 3G iPhone soon, or is it as some people are suggesting, a clever ploy by the Cupertino crew to create false demand for a product already nearing its demise?
On a slightly related note: does anyone know why Apple uses two different names on its iPhone images for the UK and US? John Appleseed for the Americans and John Anderson for us Brits? Answers on a postcard……
