New iPhone camera to get GPS capabilities?

An interesting post over on 9to5mac claims that there are references to a GPS equipped camera firmware in the latest SDK release.

This would allow applications like Google Earth and Flickr to take your photos and attach data telling you where you took them. Imagine what iPhoto could do with that !This would also work with videos, assuming the new iPhone does indeed support the feature.

looks good! We use a similar feature on PDAs at work but with manual input! This would save time no end!
