During my nightly Twitter wanderings I found an interesting tweet from Guan Yang:

“The iPhone’s SIM hotswap feature is awesome. Why can’t all phones do this?”

When I asked him about this, he said he’d been doing it successfully for some time, with no ill-effects. I had no idea this was possible, and whilst I’ve no use for it personally, I can imagine it could help some people. Obviously ymmv, so please don’t email us saying your iPhone burst into a ball of flames when you tried
