Five things the next iPhone needs to have or be (or not!)

The just announced Steve Jobs keynote at WWDC got me thinking about the impending release of the next generation iPhone. Obviously we all hope that some of the long standing bugs and irritations have been eradicated, and I’m sure we all have a list of wants as long as the number of digits on Mr Job’s bank balance !

Here I’m just going to list a five things that I want (or don’t want for that matter!) from the next version of everyone’s favourite little friend, and in no particular order….

1. 3G – Yes it’s a no-brainer I know, but it’s still pretty important to a lot of people
2. MUST NOT BE BIGGER – I can’t stress that enough. We all want features features features, but if that means them having to increase the size and/or weight, I’m out.
3. Better battery life – I’m more than a little concerned that the inclusion of 3G will have a negative affect on how long our batteries last. It’s not exactly great as it is !
4. Must not be white – Sorry, but how horrid did those pictures of a supposed white iPhone?
5. Must have copy/paste – I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve wanted to do this and obviously not been able to

So that’s my list. Other than that, I’m looking for more of the same please Mr Apple. GPS would be nice, but certainly no deal breaker especially if it’s at the cost of something else. A nice low price point would go down well too, but I’m not stupid !
