Apple have confirmed that this year’s WWDC has sold out.

The news has been confirmed on the company’s WWDC page on its developer’s website. Fortunately, the bods over at Apple are  making videos of sessions taking place at the show available for purchase.

“You can still get all the great content from WWDC 2008. Session videos will be available to purchase on iTunes shortly after the conference. More details will be available soon,” the company’s website informs.

“Response to this year’s WWDC has been off the charts and we are delighted with the show of enthusiasm and support from the developer community for the new iPhone SDK,” Apple spokesman Bill Evans, told Macworld.

WWDC 2008 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday 9 June with a keynote speech from a team of senior executives led by CEO Steve Jobs. This year’s WWDC is the first to offer in-depth developer-focused sessions on both Mac and iPhone development.

As we reported yesterday, this year’s keynote is one of the most hotly anticipated of the past few years.  We’re all hoping for iPhone v2.. will it happen!?

Anyway, must dash - watch this space!
