Mac OS X 10.5.3 Released…

Well, the next update is upon us!

Apple have just released the next installment of Leopard.

This somewhat large (420mb) package is:

…recommended for all users running Mac OS X Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac

Lets hope that the dreaded ‘wireless drop out’ issue has been resolved!  Although a quick look on the apple Knowledge Base article seems to suggest that the 10.5.3 update….

Improves 802.1X behavior and reliability.
Improves reliability when using Time Capsule.

Check out the apple website for more information…

Oh… and as a footnote, don’t forget that on Friday we’ll be running a comparison of the new macbook lines, in our new ‘Buyers Guide’ feature.

Stay tuned….

All updated, couple of oddities. Are the apple logo and search logo in the status bar different? Skitch is acting up too.

I know… they look a little glossier than they did! Can’t find any info though… hmm! Maybe I’ve not just looked at the logo for a while!

Well I’m having all kinds of problems. Skitch crashing when taking a screenshot, Numbers crashing when loading, can’t access time machine without a complete lock up. Looks like a complete Time Machine restore for me !
