Right, well today, whilst doing some book-keeping (well, checking to see if I can purchase a Macbook Pro!) I came across a receipt which was dated 28/11/07 (someone please check my maths). Why that date? Well, 28/11/07 was the day that I purchased my first mac.

Skip back a few months to the beginning of my quest…

I was kinda torn, I’d seen iMacs, all incarnations of Macbooks, Mac Pro’s and Mac Mini’s and didnt have a clue which to go for..

I liked the idea of an all in one, so the iMac seemed a perfect choice, but then again, I thought maybe a truly portable machine would be better, so I looked at the Macbook range. I then thought that I didn’t want to leave my dual monitor setup, so I thought a Mac Pro may be preferable, or a Mac Mini.

Decisions, Decisions…. After countless visits to my local Apple store and after scouring the internet for all manners of reviews, I still couldn’t decide which mac was for me.

Now, I know from previous experience that many people are in the same boat, and are unsure which mac will meet their needs, so starting tomorrow we’ll be running a mac buyer’s guide, hopefully, in enough depth to enable potential switchers to make an informed but also unbiased decision.

So.. in the words of little orphan Annie, ‘Tomorrow, Tomorrow…’
