If you’re the kind of person that likes to have your computing experience your way, chances are you spend hours looking for or creating wallpapers for your desktop. Maybe you use Customize on your iPhone too? I’m one of those people….

Last night I discovered a neat little app called Leopard Docks App that allows you to change the look of your dock in a few clicks. All you need do is download the app and dock files from leoparddocks.com and you’re away. The application and docks are free, and it’s amazing the difference they can make to the look and feel of OS X.

Allow me to demonstrate: the default leopard dock in all it’s glory

It looks OK. Functional is probably the best way of describing it. But what if it matched my wallpaper a little more?

Tinted Dock:

That’s better ! But what if I wanted it a little more subdued?

Revamped Dock:

As you can see it can make quite a difference.

Are there any docks you find work well? Upload a screenshot using Skitch and post the url in the comments section !
