Virgin Media users to receive warning letters

vm.jpgUp until now, Virgin Media have refused to send out warning letters to its users who download content using Bittorrent.

This has all changed now though after the broadband giant formed a partnership with BPI, who represents the UK recorded music industry. Now Virgin will be monitoring its users’ activity, and send out copyright warning letters accordingly.

As Gizmodo UK writes, currently 6.5m users access content using bittorrent services, so expect a mass exodus of VM customers any time……

Haha, no. I’m with Virgin and i buy all my music from iTunes thankfully…. and urm…. most of my films are from iTunes too…. yes…
