18:15 – Covering all the enterprise angles – Where’s my App Store!?

18:15 – Twitter is still up, seems turning everything off worked !

18:17 – Searchable contacts is official – finally !

18:20 – Enterprise stuff, meh.

18:21 – SDK! Demo showing how to create a UI in interface builder.

18:22 – The ability to find contacts within a 10 mile radius, pretty neat.

18:24 – Drag and drop interface building, sounds just like Lego !

18:27 – Demo sounds like it was interesting, Sega about to show off what they’ve been up to.

18:29 – Sega’s Super Monkey Ball sounds like it has come along nicely. Will be available at launch of the App Store for $9.99 !

18:33 – Ebay now taken the stage, showing off their app for spending money on rubbish, one of my favourite pass times !

18:35 – Loopd, location aware social networking. Another free app at launch !

18:38 – Typepad – blogging on the move allowing the upload of photos etc. Now we just need WP ! Typepad to be another free app at launch

18:40 – Associated Press, news covering pretty much everything from your iPhone. Includes video too. Another free download.

18:42 – Pangaea Software – games ported from OS X to iPhone. Accelerometer steering took just 10 mins to get working. Two games at under $10 each.

18:46 – Brits are getting in on the act !

18:48 – Band for iPhone, the guys seem to really like that in the hall !

18:49 – Major League Baseball, I think it’s like rounders….to include videos of games.

18:53 – Medical apps, is the market really big enough for stuff like that? Dozens of apps in weeks.

18:57 – Last app coming up, getting close to some hardware news perhaps? No idea what the last app was, couldn’t understand a word the guy said !

19:01 – Background processes a no no, battery life would be affected. Performance of other apps affected also. Push notifications are the answer apparently.

19:04 – SDK over with ! Steve’s back.

19:06 – Support for MS Office and Apple docs.

19:09 – New firmware is free and available early July.

19:10 – Enterprise can authorise iPhones to run specific apps.

19:13 – Mobile Me, fancy that. Push email, contacts and calendar for everyone not using Exchange.

19:17 – Mobile Me works over the air, both Mac and Windows users. All updated automatically.

19:19 – Web 2.0 application to give desktop-like experience.

19:24 – iDisk integrates with Mobile Me.

19:27 – Early July for Mobile Me, replaces .mac and is just shy of $100 a year. 60 day trial.

19:29 – Steve is back talking about iPhone…..

19:30 – 6m iPhones sold.

19:30 – 3G Networks !

19:32 – iPhone 3G, official. Thinner at the edges, all plastic backed. Flush headphone jack.

19:35 – 3G speeds approaching WiFi speeds, much much quicker than EDGE. Test web page: 3G finished in 21 seconds. EDGE finished in 59 seconds.

19:37 – Battery life is better than competitors. 5 to 6 hours of 3G browsing, 24 hours of audio.

19:38 – GPS is indeed built in, rumours were true.

19:45 – 3G iPhone priced at $199 for 8GB, 16GB $299 available in white too.

19:46 – Available July 11th.
