I'm from Australia and am frustrated by the calendar starting incorrectly on Monday. I have made so many appointment errors on the run because of it! I tried switching to New Zealand which correctly is set to start a week on the Sunday but my google search and location settings are then all wrong. I thought surely there must be a fix... but i found out here that no there isn't. Apple is surprisingly ignorant of anything beyond their own countries borders...!!

I do not like my calendars starting on Monday. Ordered several this year, one was Sunday and one was Monday. The one at work is Sunday. Crazy that there is no consistency and that this has never been an issue before.

After 3 years of so many complaints about how hard it is to make the calendar to your liking... Apple still will not fix a simple thing like this... makes you wonder!!

I think this, together with lack of direct name dialing shows the lack of innovation from Apple. Give people a choice for God's sake

It screws up the time, googles default page etc. Would it be so hard to get it right or to give people the option to change it?

I'm using Australia: that gives me the Monday Calender and unformatted phone numbers. (New Zealand starts the week on a Sunday, apparently.) Both come with 12h time so I went into Date & Time and flipped the clock to 24h. (Oh, sure, they remembered to give that it's own setting...)

Try setting the internationalization to Hong Kong. This way you'll get Sunday and Metric System

Thanks so much for this...I had my week starting on Sunday (live in Memphis) and then I was adding international keyboards and chose UK as region format...did not realize that would change the calendar. Been bugging me all day how to change it back. Thanks y'all.
