This fix is only for OS X users….

I’ve been fighting with the last.fm client for a week, trying to make the thing scrobble from my iPhone. Tonight, I got it working, sort of !

After much searching, reading, and more searching I came across a thread over on the last.fm forums (http://www.last.fm/forum/34905/_/431155/14)

Basically, it’s something to do with the way iTunes 7.7 works. Apple must have changed something, and the last.fm client didn’t like it. The answer is a new version available here.

With this version, I’m now able to scrobble songs. It seems to be working for everyone in that thread too, though for some odd reason I’m having to force the client to scrobble, where everyone else is having it do it on its own. Still, it’s better than nothing !

As usual, YMMV but be sure to let me know how you get on !
