Is tapping better than swiping? (useless) iPhone tip.
I honestly can’t remember where I heard/read/saw this but I’ve just got around to giving it a go and it is indeed true.

It turns out if you don’t like swiping across the screen on your iPhone to move through your pages of applications, you can just tap it. To be more specific, you’ll need to tap the side of the screen you want to scroll to, just to the side of the dots that show you what page you are currently on. See the image on the left for anyone who didn’t follow my rather poor instructions !
I’ve absolutely no idea what’s wrong with swiping, but I’m sure someone will use this.
Anyone know why this is better than swiping? Let me know !

@Sean – like i say, it’s news to me. Still seems pointless.
Its really slow to tap. Easier to swipe for me
Plus i always hit the icons and launch an app!
@Ben it really does seem like a nothing feature doesn’t it !
