First post in a while, it’s been pretty hectic around here over the last few weeks. Anyone following my Twitter feed (you ARE following me, aren’t you?) will know I’ve recently moved house and haven’t had ADSL for a while. Anyway, I’m back. So there you go.

What prompted me to finally get off my rear-end and post something was this 4GB kit of Crucial RAM.

Not only is it Crucial’s enthusiast line of Ballistix memory, but it’s got a Union Jack plastered all over it too ! Cool? I think so, yes.

4GB kit (2GBx2), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM , DDR2 PC2-6400 from Crucial.com

This kind of thing is usually reserved for the American’s, so it’s nice to see us Brits getting in on the patriotic action !

One Response to Proud to be British ? Show the world with Union Jack RAM

  1. That is pretty cool. However I’m wondering why they did it with a RAM stick because as well all know it hides from sight inside that computer. And I doubt the machine cares…

They should have done this with the other type of memory stick – you know, the one for USB. That way everybody could see it and pad you on the back or roll his/her eyes. Like the statue of liberty flash drive that’s recently been released in the US. So no offense, but it looks to me that americans still have the upper hand in terms of patriotism. On the other hand the statue was given to them by the french. Hmmm…
