Search web pages in Mobile Safari
So, Safari on the iPhone. Probably the best mobile browser out there, but with one pretty major flaw; you can’t search web pages for words. Or can you ?
It’s all rather simple really, and it’s done by the magic of a bookmarklet.
Add this to your bookmarks (you’ll need to do this via your desktop machine). Once done, just fire up the bookmark on whichever page you wish to search and you’re done. Once you run the bookmarklet you’ll be returned to your original page with your chosen word highlighted in a lovely yellow, ready for your perusal.
The whole thing works so well you’ll think it’s part of the app !
