Spotify improves music purchasing
Another YouTube video for you, this time from Spotify. It appears they’ve improved the way you purchase music through the service, but having never tried it before I’ve no idea how improved it actually is !
Just one question though. With the ability to download tracks to play offline already available to premium subscribers on both the desktop and iPhone clients, why would anyone buy the music ?

If anyone actually uses this feature, please, PLEASE let me know why !

Im looking at maybe going premium, but can see this being of use if you want to download and then use the mp3 on something other than your desktop or iphone, maybe you have another phone or just an ipod. But then if you have an ipod you have itunes and can most tracks from there without a problem.
If they had a bigger library and were competitivly priced with itunes then maybe it can take off. Never bought from spotify myself
@Ben – Price is interesting – Kings of Leon, Only By The Night is £5 on Spotify. It’s £7.99 on iTunes.
I wonder if spotify is selling with very little margin because they are making their money from the subscriptions
