International Mac Podcast Live 12³
As some of you may know, I recently became part of the International Mac Podcast (IMP for the lazy amongst us) team as proven by my rather spiffy picture on the IMP website! It’s great fun, and I obviously recommend any reader of this blog goes over and has a look.
Anyway, the whole point of this post is to draw your attention to IMP Live 12³. To quote the IMP website:
Hey everyone, Stu here, so, here’s the idea, on the 12th December 2009 we’re going to do a 12 hour live stream for you all to enjoy, we’ll get as many of the IMP team to be there for at least an hour as we can, but of course we want to get some of our wonderful podcasting comrades to join us for a chat, as well as some great interviews with some great Mac people.
Now we know you won’t be able to listen to all 12 hours at once, I’m not entirely sure how I’ll stay awake for the whole time myself, but I’m going to do it anyway! My idea is to release each hour of the stream as an episode, spreading across 12 days from the 13th December right up until Christmas Day (25th December) which, for those of you who celebrate Christmas will be a nice little present for you!
Now, I can’t pull this off without your help, that’s right I said you, our fantastic readers and listeners! What we need is your thoughts on what sort of topics we should cover, who we should have as guests and what other things you’d like to see from us, maybe some Holiday give aways and competitions?
So there you have it. 12 hours of Mac chat, with yours truly putting in an appearance or two along the way. Should that not be enough, we’re also sweetening the deal with a few special guests from the Mac community. We’ll confirm the names when we can, but I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!
