My cat’s take on the Apple tablet
It seems that with less than 3 hours to go until the Apple announcement, everyone is talking about the impending Tablet. It almost feels like the iTablet/iPad/iSlate/God Device is all we’ve been discussing for months and I, for one, am more looking forward to the end of the speculation than the actual device itself!
It was recently pointed out to me on Twitter that I hadn’t posted about the tablet on my blog, and that got me thinking. It seems everyone on the interwebs has offered their opinions lately – it’s all I’ve seen in my Google Reader account – I wasn’t sure what I could add to the discussion. Then I realised there was ONE view that hadn’t been covered. What did my CAT think?
Here’s what she had to say….
Are you looking forward to a tablet device?
Not entirely. That doesn’t mean that they don’t have some fancy app or usage up their sleeve that will make me think ‘ahhh, of course!’
Will we see an OS based on Snow Leopard or the iPhone OS?
Somewhere in-between. This thing won’t be a laptop replacement and it wont be an oversized ipod touch – I’m hoping for a whole new device category.
short intermission for a litter break……..
What apps do you want to see on a tablet?
I’m looking forward to an app where I can order cat-tastic food using a large touchpad. The iPhone is too small for my paws!
What else will we see announced?
Probably a new iPhone OS, but hopefully there’ll be new iPhone hardware too. That may have to wait for another conference if Apple don’t want to take attention away from their new toy.
And there we have it, now everyone on the planet has had their say on what we’re going to see from Apple later today. Fingers crossed for new iPhones!
