Since I discovered my MacBook’s MagSafe connector had died, I’ve been computerless. Now granted, that’s only been three days, but for someone who lives on their machine it’s a pretty big deal. Thankfully though, I’ve survived admirably. How ? Thanks to my iPhone, that’s how !
Here are a selection of applications that have made my [...]

I’ve done another video of me launching yet more applications using the SSD,mainly because I wanted to try out some screencasting software for a future post !

Anyone who follows me on Twitter will know how I’ve been a little obsessed with my MacBook’s hard drive over the last week or so. For everyone else, allow me to recap….
A few days after getting my shiny new 2008 MacBook home, I noticed a sound coming from the area where the HDD is [...]

Make your MacBook drop to standby quickly

Yet more good to come from reading Paul Stamatiou’s blog is this handy little tip to make your MacBook go into standby mode quickly.
If like me you’re an impatient so-and-so, you’ll no doubt be bored of closing the lid on your machine and waiting for the standby light to start flashing. Only [...]

Have you missed any MacBook gestures?

3 November, 2008 (01:20) | , , | No comments

One of the things I’m finding myself really liking about the new MacBook is the gestures used for things such as Safari navigation and image resizing. The new larger trackpads make it a pleasure to use, and even better than using a mouse.
On one of my recent internetz trawls I found a video over [...]
