iTunes users on Windows were having Safari forced on them as an “Update”, which seemed to annoy some people who didn’t want it installed by default. It’s now listed as “New Software”… and installed by default unless you uncheck the box.

The latest update to Safari has landed, bringing Apple’s browser to 3.1.1. Available for both OS X and Windows, the update:
“includes improvements to stability, compatibility and security.”
Download from the usual sources, including Software Update.
