Zibri, the Italian who created Ziphone has been on Italian TV. The Roman discusses things such as security and the reason behind the name ‘Ziphone’
Be warned though, it’s all in Italian and the subtitles are woeful

Zibri, of Ziphone fame, has posted o his blog that a line of code in the latest beta firmware shows that the next iPhone will indeed be 3G, and use the Infineon SGOLD3 chip.
The current iPhone used the SGOLD2 EDGE chip, if anyone was wondering….

Zibri is claiming that his Ziphone software can unlock the yet unlreleased 2.0 firmware. Whilst it’s still an early beta of the software, this is certainly encouraging for all use with unlocked iPhones that will want the latest firmware ASAP.
Let’s hope that Apple don’t plug whatever hole he’s exploiting.
